Hello, I’m Mrs. Amruta Anant Kulkarni, Founder and Director of LESALT INDIA (Let’s Start Again Lost Tradition), and Nutri&HATKE, a company dedicated to providing wholesome baby food products.
My story begins in a modest middle-class family. After getting married, I moved from the small village of Walwad to Pune, where I embraced the responsibilities of managing a joint family. For 10 years, I balanced the demands of running a household, caring for my in-laws, my children, and attending to guests.
Yet, amidst these daily duties, I found a spark—an opportunity to start something meaningful. With a deep desire to revive lost traditions and provide nutritious options for babies, I ventured into the business world, balancing both my family’s needs and my entrepreneurial ambitions.
In this blog series, I’ll share how I discovered the motivation to start my business, the challenges I faced, and how I overcame them, all while staying true to my roots. I hope my journey inspires other women who are balancing family life and aspiring for something greater.
