Grandma's Advice and Insistence

After overcoming numerous challenges, I was eager to share our progress with my grandmother-in-law. When I explained that we planned to distribute our baby food products in 250-gram packets, her response caught me off guard. She asked how long it would take for a baby to consume 250 grams of food, and when I explained that it would vary depending on the baby's age, taste, and preferences, she became concerned.

She insisted that no baby should be fed food that was made 8-10 days ago and urged me to find a way to provide the freshest food possible. Her words reminded me of the lessons in perfection she and my grandmother had imparted to me since childhood. I remembered how my grandmother would grind fresh flour every morning, never using anything older than a week. This commitment to freshness resonated deeply with me, and I knew we had to offer something similar for our baby food products.

This conversation sparked the idea of a weekly subscription service. With guidance from ancient texts like the Kashyap Samhita and Charaka Samhita, as well as wisdom from my grandmother and grandmother-in-law, I began to gather information on the specific nutritional needs of babies at different stages of their early development. For instance, iron is crucial in the sixth month for growth and development, protein in the seventh month supports movement and crawling, and magnesium in the eighth month aids brain development and helps babies sleep better.

The World Health Organization (WHO) emphasizes that the first 1,000 days of a child’s life are critical in shaping their future. Proper nutrition during this period is essential for the development of the body, brain, metabolism, and immune system. Inadequate nutrition can cause irreparable damage to a child’s brain and body.

With these insights in mind, I developed five subscription plans tailored to the early stages of a baby’s life:

  • Subscription 1: 7th and 8th month
  • Subscription 2: 9th and 10th month
  • Subscription 3: 11th and 12th month
  • Subscription 4: 13th to 18th month
  • Subscription 5: 19th to 24th month

Each plan is carefully crafted to provide fresh, nutrient-rich food that supports the specific needs of babies at different developmental stages, ensuring they receive the best start in life.
